Alas a familiar sight in too many cities.
In front of a church?
Sad but colorful clothes.

The photo has a sad feeling to it, but a great capture nonetheless!

I often wonder what are the thoughts of those who, like this woman asks for charity for live, in front of our gifts and our refusals ...

I like this picture for the contrast:color for the stranger and grey for the foreign city.
You caught what's sometimes the difference between "Us" and "Them"

Ciao

Gostei do enquadramento.

Beijos.

"us & them" - those who work & those who bag. One may say they don't have where to work because no one hires them, to be honest i think they can find jobs but this is a way of life for them - not working, just bagging, sometimes stealing. Yes, it is a sad capture but it's sad because the way they've chosen.

about math:
let's say in 10 minutes they "earn" up to 1 eur, which means 6 € in an hour, 48 € in 8 hours, 240 € in 5 days or 336 € in 7 days (actually in weekend it is more profitable for them) which means somewhere between 960 - 1344 € in a month... by doing... nothing.

It's not easy to tell if this is sad or not, Lina. It sure is very colorful, and therefore is a bright and optimistic image for me.

The colours of the world... Yellow for the sun, blue for the sky, green for the plants, braun for the earth, red for the blood.... and she looks nowhere....sad :(
